The royalty association is a non-profit membership corporation established in March, 2008, and dedicated to monitoring the gas drilling operation located in Pantego Texas and covering all leases located in the Town of Pantego, Texas, and all leases in Arlington located between Fielder Rd and Park Springs, and between Park Row and Pioneer.
The lease areas are divided into two pools. Pool A is West of Bowen. Pool B is east of Bowen. Within each pool, there is a community pooling provision which means that all lessors will share in the revenue from the drilling that reaches into their defined community pool area.
The principal activity of the Royalty Owners Association is communication, and vigilance pertaining to the lease. Members receive timely updates on important information, and can call on the ROA officers for infomation on the status of drilling, and answering questions pertaining to the drilling activity and lease.
The membership year is from February 1 to Jan. 31. The membership dues are $10 per property.
